Jeffrey Pikula Obituary Jeffrey Brian Pikula, 67, of Baxter, passed away surrounded by love and family on Friday, September 2, 2022. Jeff was born November 30, 1954, in Brainerd, the son of Frank and Viola (Christiansen) Pikula. He married Dawn Marie Nelson on May 18, 1974, his high school sweetheart. The couple was blessed with 3 children, 7 grandchildren as well as being the "rock" for many other children in their life. He will also be remembered by fathers, brothers, sisters, and many nephews and nieces. Jeff was in the construction business for 53 years, and had a passion for hunting, fishing, cooking, baking, and John Wayne. He had a personality that was larger than life, leaving his family with an endless number of stories. Jeffs family and friends will gather Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at the Nelson Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. On Friday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m., there will be a Mass at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with a visitation starting one hour prior and a luncheon to follow.
