Jenna Bartylla Obituary Jenna Kaye Bartylla was welcomed into the Kingdom by her loving mother on Friday, January 10, 2020. Jenna was born September 6, 1985 and enjoyed a childhood filled with boating, swimming, and bonfires. Her sister, Kara was her best friend and they shared a bond only a sister can understand. After graduating from Park Rapids Area High School, Jenna still loved spending her time at the lake and even added in kayaking. When she became a mom, nothing meant more to Jenna than spending time with her children, Kaelyn, Khloe, Kennedy, and Karson. She loved sharing her passion for Blue Lake and was happiest when they were together there. She enjoyed craft nights, movie nights and family games nights. Jenna adored her children and tried to make every day beautiful and priceless. Her sparking personality and adventurous spirit will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. She is survived by her children, Kaelyn, Khloe, Kennedy and Karson Van Norman; other mother, Brenda Johnson; father, Bruce Bartylla; sister, Kara (Michael, Lili) Lawhorn; grandparents, Arlene and Sherman Swanson; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jenna is preceded in death by her mother, Joni Kaye Johnson; grandparents, Barney and Marge Johnson; grandfather, Gilbert Bartylla; and great-grandma, Viola Smith. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020, 12:00 pm, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Park Rapids, MN. Lunch will be served immediately after the service. AND A Celebration of Jennas Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather one-hour prior services and stay for a luncheon to follow. A private, family interment will be held in the spring, when Jenna will be laid to rest with her mother, Joni.
