Jeri Harting Obituary Jeri Lynn Harting, 77, of Brainerd, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at her home. A Celebration of Jeris Life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather for one hour prior to the service. Jeri was born March 10, 1946, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Harold and Astrid (Johnson) Fredricks. After high school, Jeri worked in hospitality for many years 29 at the Blue Ox. She also enjoyed working at Super Valu. When her sons were young, Jeri liked to take the boys camping - many summer days were spent at Crosslake and South Long Lake. Later in life, trips to Duluth with Tom or lunch out with her girlfriends never failed to make her smile. Her heart beat to her own drum or that of Vince Gill. He was her favorite artist and she also appreciated 80s rock. Above all else, Jeris family was most important and the time she spent with them was cherished. She will be dearly missed by her son, Craig (Danelle) Harting; grandson, Shaun Harting; granddaughter, Kristina Harting; sisters, Jackie Bisson and Lori Walz; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Tom Ramsdal. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel; mom, Astrid; step-father, Fred; and brothers, Bob Fredricks and Greg Cox.
