Joanne Hillman Obituary Joanne Hillman, age 81, died on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Carefree Senior Living in Brainerd. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather for one hour prior. Joanne was born to Robert and Shirley Willis on February 24, 1943. She enjoyed doing ceramics, playing Bingo and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and caring wife and mother, her family will fondly remember it was her way or the highway. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Norman Austin, Bob (Stephanie) Austin, Kelli (Hans) Bloom, Nikki (Rick) Showalter, Sandy (Carey) Swaser; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Her family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for taking such great care of Joanne at her home.
