John Blume Obituary John "Jack" Blume, age 95, of Brainerd, MN, born in Redfield, SD, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2021 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Baxter, MN. John worked at the Burlington Northern Railroad, he was a published poet, wonderful baritone singer, locksmith, and an all-around jack of all trades. He was a loving husband to Charlie for 64 years and father to his children. He was a proud US Army Veteran. John is survived by his son, Kevin (Val) Blume; daughters, Kathy Billman and Connie (Bruce) Johnson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. John will be greatly missed by all. John went to join the Love of his Life, Charlotte "Charlie"; parents, Frank and Nora; brother, Jim; sons, Jeff and Greg; daughters, Colleen and Ramona in Gods Holy Kingdom. Funeral service celebrating Jacks life will be held on Friday, January 29th, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Nelson Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd, with Pastor Lindsey Jones officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are being completed by Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.
