John Henry Heino, age 79, resident of Brainerd, passed away on Saturday, August 8th, 2026.

 John was born on January 20, 1947 to John Heino and Eleanor Cash. After high school, John joined the Air Force and was stationed out on the East Coast. During his earlier years, John enjoyed oil painting. He moved out to Wyoming for quite a few years and continued to drive across the country in his Big Rig. He had many stories we got to hear about while he was trucking. We also have paintings to cherish from his early years. 

He is survived by his daughters, Corinne (Paul) Swenson, Johnna (Randy) Hovde; and their mother, Diane Holz, his soul mate; his grandchildren, Mikalah Speed, Ethan Heino, Taylor Hovde, Kendall Hovde; his great-grandchildren, Ryker and Mason Gudde. He is preceded in death by his father, John E. Heino, Sr.; his mother, Eleanor B. Cash; sister, Barbara Gavin; along with many aunts and uncles. A Celebration of Life and Interment will be at a later date.
