John O'Reilly Obituary John Vincent O'Reilly, age 56, resident of Brainerd, died September 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. John Vincent O'Reilly was born December 4, 1959 in Brainerd, MN to Raymond Vernon and Juanita Rita (Jewell) O'Reilly. He was raised in Brainerd and graduated from Brainerd High School in 1978. John was a member of St. Francis Church and worked as a custodian at St. Francis School. John enjoyed golf, fantasy football and BBQ's with family. John married Jeri Lee Thompson on August 27, 1983. They had two daughters, Kayla and Kelly. John is survived by his daughters, Kayla (Neela) O'Reilly of Brainerd, Kelly O'Reilly of Brainerd, former wife, Jeri Lee O'Reilly; his siblings, Jerry (Cheryl) O'Reilly of Brainerd, Bob (Jan) O'Reilly of Brainerd, Penny (Jeff) Sawdy of Brooklyn Center; in-laws, Beverly O'Reilly, Vicki O'Reilly-Stensgaard, Diane O'Reilly and Dave Karlson. "Mean Uncle John" will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, he will also be missed by his many friends. John was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jim, Mike, Tim, Tom O'Reilly and Jackie Karlson; sister-in-law, Jackie O'Reilly and great niece, Isabella O'Reilly. We are blessed and thankful for the love, support and help our family and friends have provided. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Paul Strommer officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home with parish prayers at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue the hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
