John Rugloski Obituary John Bernard Rugloski, age 90, resident of Baxter, Minnesota, passed away surrounded by family Monday, July 16, 2018, in St. Cloud, Minnesota. John was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 11, 1928. He was one of six children born to Michael and Irene (Martin) Rugloski.
He married Irene (Nathe) Rugloski in December of 1959, in Melrose, Minnesota. John lived in Park Rapids, Minnesota prior to moving to the Brainerd Lakes area in the mid 1950s, after serving 4 years in Korea in the United States Navy. He worked at the Brainerd paper mill for 30 plus years until his retirement from Potlatch in 1990.
John is survived by one sister, Mary Tryke of Denver Colorado, five children: Ann Krell of Florida, (Tom Krell), Patrick Rugloski of Lake Shore, Minnesota, (Mary Guldan), Ramona Hjerpe, Hutchinson, Minnesota, (Kurt Hjerpe), Bruce Rugloski, Baxter, Minnesota, (Karen Lind), Sara Rugloski, of Crosby Minnesota, and 12 grandchildren: Blake Krell, Derek Krell, Andrew Rugloski, Matthew Rugloski, Christopher Rugloski, Kaitlin Spencer (Nikki), Alexandra Smith (Nash), Meghan Hjerpe, Benjamin Hjerpe, Emily Rugloski, Sam Rugloski, and Jacob Rugloski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and four brothers and sisters.
John was an avid outdoors man and a true believer and follower of Jesus. His example and kind disposition will be missed by those who knew him.
Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, July 28th, at 1 p.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church, Brainerd, Minnesota with visitation beginning the hour prior to services at the church. Interment at St. Thomas of the Pines Cemetery following lunch and mass.
