Kenneth Collett Obituary Kenneth Collett passed away January 10, 2025, with his devoted wife Cathy and family at his side, at the age of 77, after a long battle with cancer. After graduating from Brainerd High School, at the age of 17, Ken entered his 20 year career in the United States Navy. Throughout his career, he was stationed in Hawaii, Florida and Virginia. After his retirement from the Navy, he and Cathy built their dream retirement home on the river. From an early age, Ken found his love for God in nature. Ken loved fishing, hunting, and just watching the world outside unfold from season to season with Gods creations. Ken is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy; their beloved dogs, Rainey and Mika; his children, Jim (Janis) Collett, Rana (Ralf) Blaes, Alexa (Cal) Burnette; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Raymond (Rosalie) Collett, Harley (Cheri Morgan) Collett; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Schaefer, Debra (Dennis) Doucette and Connie (Mike) Bradway; and many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Darlene Rohlf and Patty Norris. A private family service will be held at a later date.
