Larry Olson Obituary Larry "Peewee" Melvin Olson, age 83, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully at home on May 12, 2025. Larry was born on February 5, 1942, in Anoka County, Minnesota, to Leonard and Millie Olson. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and later built a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and connection with those he loved. Known affectionately as "Peewee," Larry enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including hunting, boating, and most of all, spending time with his friends and family. His sense of humor, stories, and easygoing nature made him a beloved presence to all who knew him. Peewee is survived by his son, Chad (Nicole) Olson; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his sister, Judy Ripka. Burial with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
