Laura Clemons Obituary Laura J. Clemons, age 57, of Brainerd passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at her home. Funeral services for Laura will be held at 12PM on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church in Brainerd. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd. Laura was born on March 14, 1967 in Fridley to Raymond and Patricia (Lynch) Windorski. She was the second of four children. Laura was a playful child, who thoroughly enjoyed her childhood. She was quiet, loving and slightly rebellious. Laura was a 1985 graduate of Crosby-Ironton High School. She married Dean Clemons on June 15, 1996 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Milaca. Laura and Deans family was much like the Brady Bunch, in that she had two daughters and he had two sons; and together they had two more children. Laura offered all her children a shoulder to lean on, support when needed, and a gentle touch of compassion. She loved to cook anything and everything; Laura was also willing to accommodate individual requests. She enjoyed gardening flowers, her chickens, and cats. Laura enjoyed the simple things in life, giving, selfless, quick-witted and full of love. Above all else, Laura loved her family beyond measure. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Laura is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dean Clemons; children, Amber (GB) Kaspar, Eric Clemons, Ashley (Jake Theien) Windorski, Tyler Hedstrom, Abigail Clemons, Raymond Clemons; mother and step-father, Patricia (John) Westerberg; mother-in-law, Caroline Peterson; siblings, Christine Kilner, Kristin (Ed) Pollock, Neil (Lorena) Windorski, Kelly (Tom Thomas) Kruize, Julie (Terry) Jenson; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Harry Kelley; many cherished grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and distant relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond; father-in-law, Virgil Clemons; and beloved four legged companions, Millie and Buttons.
