Lawrence Bunnell Obituary LAWRENCE W. "LARRY" BUNNELL, 61, resident of Brainerd, died Friday, November 14, 2014 with his loving family at his side. Larry was born in Bemidji on August 14, 1953 to Floyd and Maxine (Kallstrom) Bunnell. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 1971 and attended and graduated from Bemidji State University in 1975. Larry returned to Brainerd and began his career with the City of Brainerd Parks and Recreation and later went to work for the State of Minnesota Human Resources for 34 years. Surviving are his children Kyle (fianc Rachel) Bunnell and Kellie Bunnell; grandchildren Jaxon, Deshaun, Mia and Donovan; brother Randy (Deborah) Bunnell; and many nieces and nephews. His parents died earlier. Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, November 18, 2014 a First Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor John Stiles officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and the hour before the service Tuesday at church. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
