Lawrence Seline Obituary Lawrence W. Seline, age 92, resident of Brainerd, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Essentia St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Lawrence was born March 9, 1926 in Mora, Minnesota to Victor and Signe Seline. He attended rural school 1-8th grade and Mora High School. He enlisted in AAF at 18 years of age, serving for two years. Lawrence married Betty Jane Shafer on May 21, 1950. He worked for Burtons and Burt Electric for a total of 40 years. Lawrence was a 63-year member of IBEW and a member of First Lutheran Church for 68 years. Survivors include his wife, Betty; children, Linda (Dwight) Thiesse, Gary (Sue) Seline, Sandy (Mark) Cosert, Sue (Kevin) Anderson; 9-grandchildren and 11-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, 2-sisters and 7-brothers. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor John Stiles officiating. Visitation will begin the hour prior to services at the church. Military Honors are provided by Brainerd American Legion and V.F.W. Color Guard. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
