Linda Anderson Obituary Linda Marie Anderson, 73, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Celebration of Lindas Life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services and to stay for a lunch to follow. Linda was born December 28, 1948, in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Malcolm and Eleanor (Peterson) Magnuson. Linda was a Minnesotan to the core and enjoyed her childhood in Thief River Falls. After graduating with a teaching degree, Linda taught for many years for ISD 181. She retired in 2004, from Nisswa Elementary. In 1969, she married Gail Anderson. The couple were blessed with two children, and she appreciated being able to take a few years off to raise Jennifer and Michael "Mick". She liked to travel, fish, and quilt. But nothing was closer to her heart, than spending time at the cabin in the NW Angle. Her summers there turned friends into family. Linda was loving, giving, and even if she always caught the most or biggest fish she always made sure you had fun when you were with her. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Gail; children, Mick Anderson and Jennifer (Jason) Bade; grandchildren, Gillian Richards, Julia Richards, and Samantha Bade; siblings, Judy (Charles) Knapp and Michael (Heidi) Magnuson; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents.
