Linda Roberts Obituary Linda Carolyn Roberts, of Crosby MN, passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 87. Services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11am, at the Aitkin United Methodist Church. Family and friends are invited to gather at 10am for a visitation. 104 2nd Street NW, Aitkin, MN 56431. Linda was born in Minneapolis, MN on November 14, 1937, to James Roberts and Dorothy Rutledge. She was raised in Edina, MN until she was twelve years old and then moved to Le Center, then to Duluth. In 1955, she graduated from Duluth Central High School. She trained as a Radiology Technologist at St. Lukes Hospital and worked before her children were born. She then went back to work when she moved from Owatonna to the Cities. She also worked part time in Aitkin after she retired. In 1959 she married John Jorissen and together they had four children. In 1993, she married Doug Kincaid. Linda and Doug had many activities they loved in common including bird watching, fishing, traveling, enjoying nature and a good game of cribbage. Linda loved Minnesotas beauty, loved her faith, had a generous spirit and truly loved life. She was preceded in death by her husband Doug Kincaid; parents; sister Susan Zimmerman; stepson Donald Kincaid; son-in-law David Kretsch; and grandson Brandon Kretsch. She is survived by her daughters Jackie Kretsch, Cathryn Jorissen (Kenny Holden), Carolyn (Len) Schmidt, Mary (Brad) Shroenghamer, Patti (Brad) Buechele, Sandy (Dan) Scullion, Cindy Holden; and her son Robert (Donna) Jorissen; and many grand and great-grandchildren.
