Lois DeRosier Obituary Lois M. DeRosier, age 93, died on March 4, 2024, at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mathias Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to gather for one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls. Lois M. DeRosier was born on December 20,1930 in Brainerd, MN to Henry and Katherine (Vieth) Fleischhacker. She married Howard DeRosier on June 29, 1949. She was a member of St. Mathias Church and the VFW. Lois was in her glory sharing her God given talent of yodeling, winning many talent shows around town. Howard and Lois owned a resort on South Long Lake for 23 years. There were many wedding dances that had Lois singing with the bands. Howard and Lois sponsored men's and women's pool and softball teams that had many great players bringing home several trophies that they proudly displayed at the resort. And the kitchen was always serving great food for all... Lois is survived by her son James DeRosier, daughter Marlene Segler (Bruce), and son Mark DeRosier; her sister Rosie Mogenson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Howard; grandson Scott DeRosier; brother Bud Fleischhacker; sisters Delores Mogenson, and Betty Tugwell.
