Lois Ehmke Obituary Lois (DeRosier) Ehmke was born December 11, 1930, in St. Mathias, MN. She graduated from Washington High School in Brainerd. She married Frank Bland Ehmke on February 12, 1948. Lois loved family gatherings, usually at her house. She always had coffee on and an assortment of cookies and bars. She was involved in the ladies' guild at St. Francis and St. Andrews for many years. She enjoyed rummage sales, playing cards, trips to the casino, and cherished the time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Ehmke, parents, Lucien and Mable DeRosier; sisters, Opal Johns, Charlotte Stevens, and Teresa Thesing; and brothers, Howard, Ronald, Dwayne, and Peter DeRosier. She is survived by her siblings, Chuck (Janeen) DeRosier and Geri Villnow; daughters, Carolyn Carlson, Connie Tisdell, Patti (Mike) Velasco, Robbi (Scott) Berry; son Steven Ehmke; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Lois passed away on March 6, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to Mass and stay for a luncheon to follow. Interment will be held at Memorial Gardens in Brainerd.
