Lorraine Maier Obituary Lorraine Anne (Kramer) Maier, 96, of Diamond Willow, Baxter, Minnesota died with all her family at her side, Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Lorraine was born in Hinsdale, Montana on February 21, 1920 to Gilbert and Anne Phillips. she retired from Consolidated Telephone Company after 30 years of employment. Lorraine has always said: "my greatest accomplishment is my family, my greatest joy is their success and happiness". Survivors include sons, Gary (Sharon) Kramer of Baxter, and Philip Kramer of Lebanon, Indiana; daughters, Nancy (Alan) Landin of Brainerd and Marilee (Steve) Lockwood of Baxter; step-daughters, Phyllis and Ardyce Maier of Baxter and Janice (Doug) Bohn of Brainerd; step-son, Dennis Maier of Flagstaff, Arizona; she has 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; multiple brothers and one sister; husbands, Hugh Donald Kramer and Clarence Maier; daughter, Donaleen Chapin and step-son, Carlos Maier. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Daniel Weiske and Father John Pearson officiating. Viewing will be at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. on Friday with a prayer service ending the visitation. Visitation will continue the hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
