Lucille Miotke, age 97, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Essentia Health – St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd at 11:00 a.m. family and friends are invited to gather for one hour prior to Mass. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Lucille was born to Nicholas and Elizabeth (Gebetsreiter) Lardy on April 23, 1928 in Roslyn South Dakota. She was known for her friendly, outgoing personality and love of visiting with others. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially moco cakes, for family and friends and spent many hours embroidering. Lucille worked as a waitress for 37 years at the Greenland Supper Club in Elysian, MN where she became a familiar face to many and took pride in her work. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the many connections she made throughout her life.

Lucille is survived by four children, Jan Johnson, Jean (Richard) Thomas, Chuck (Joni) Miotke, Mary Kay (Miles) Wandersee; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; one sister, Lois Ziniel; and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chet; brother, Henry and son-in-law, Steve Johnson.
