Luke Daniel Shipman, 41, of Brainerd, Minnesota, passed away on October 5th, 2026.

He was a proud business owner, a passionate outdoorsman, and a deeply devoted family man and friend.

Born on November 5, 1984, Luke built his life around hard work, a love for nature, and an unwavering commitment to those he cared about. As the owner of Shipman Auto Parts, he poured his heart into his business, earning the deep respect and admiration of his community and colleagues alike. When he wasn’t managing his shop, Luke was happiest in the woods. An avid hunter, he found peace and joy in the outdoors, always chasing the next great adventure, especially with Uncle Mike.

Above all, Luke was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. His family and friends will forever remember his strength, his generous spirit, and the quiet pride he took in supporting those he loved. His legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Luke is survived by his parents, Daniel and Nancy Shipman; his siblings, Elizabeth (Benjamin) Diebel, Adam Shipman, and Mary Kate Shipman; his cherished nieces, Lily and Mila Diebel; and a community of deeply valued friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Helen Shipman, and John and Margaret Thelen.

A private celebration of Luke’s life will be held at a later date.
