Marie DeRosier Obituary Marie Louise DeRosier, 69, of Fort Ripley, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Carefree Living in Brainerd. A Funeral Mass for Marie will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2023, at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Fort Ripley. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to Mass and stay for a lunch to follow. Interment will be held at a later date at Grasston Union Cemetery. Marie was born September 9, 1953, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Myron and JoAnn (Larson) Anderson. After high school, Marie worked in health care for many years. In addition to medical billing, she also did financial assistance and admissions. Most of her career was spent at Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis and St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Marie loved animals she was never without a cat or dog to keep her company. She enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers. There was not a thrift store around where she didnt try to find a treasure. Most of all, Maries family brought her joy. She looked forward to weekends with her daughters and grandchildren or Sunday drives that ended at the Dairy Queen. She is survived by her husband, Ronald DeRosier; daughters, Tina Tomberlin and Christine Wilkins; step-children, Garnette Bordwell, Jack DeRosier, Kristine (Todd) Sandman, Jeff (Julie) DeRosier, and Roxanne (Bob) Koering; grandchildren, Frank, Elsie, Alex, Kaylon, Edward, Melissa, Michael, Jessica, Aleesha, Joshua, Nathan, Trista, Jackie, Janessa, Jaime, Nichole and Jason; siblings, Allen Anderson, Glenn (Mary) Anderson, Gordon Anderson, and Robert (Sue) Harkins; step-siblings, Jodi, Chloe Ann, Jeff Anderson, and James Anderson; and many extended family members including great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her mom, JoAnn Harkins; dad, Myron Anderson; and stepbrother, Wesley Asplund.
