Marilyn Boese Obituary Marilyn L. Boese, 76, of Brainerd, died Friday, January 8, 2016 in Brainerd. Marilyn was born August 4, 1939 in Brainerd to Clyde and Mabel (Erickson) Goninan. She retired after a 36 year career at Brainerd Regional Human Services Center. She was an avid fisherman and enjoyed bowling, singing, gardening and her trips to the casino. She was a member of the Eagles Club. She is survived by: Her husband, Robert 3 Daughters - Cindy Niemann of Windsted, Jodi Thielen (Marco) of Nisswa and Bonnie Meyer (Bruce) of Sartell 2 Grandchildren - Jessie Mae Niemann and Zachary Paul Meyer 2 Great Grandchildren - Sophia Lea Lewis and James Paul Lewis 1 Brother - Douglas (Beryl) Goninan 2 Sisters - Donna (Kenny) Sugden and Jean (Earl) Malone She was preceded in death by her parents and second husband, Paul Lewis Meyer. Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Rev. David Holte officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens with luncheon following at the Eagles Club in Brainerd. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
