Marjorie Keller Obituary Marjorie I. Keller, 89, of Baxter, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Marges life will be celebrated with a memorial service on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at The Journey North Church in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior and stay for a luncheon to follow. Private interment will take place at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley. Marge was born on Valentines Day in 1933. She was born on the family farm in Skogmo, ND to Bert and Cora (Gjerde) Stromme. She met the love of her life, Thomas Keller, in grade school. After high school, Marge attended Minot State University where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Education. She enjoyed teaching in a country school for several years, before she focused on raising her children and selling Avon. In 1968, Avon promoted Marge to District Manager. She and Tom moved the family to Brainerd. Marge loved to cook, bake, travel, camp and play cards. Marge had a love for music; she played guitar, banjo, piano, mandolin, and accordion all by ear. She and her sister Janice preformed as the singing duo The Storm Sisters, playing with the Dakota Hayride. Marge and Tom wintered in Mission Texas at Circle T Park for many years where they met many lifelong friends. Marges faith was at the forefront of her life; she was very active in church along with singing in the choir. And as full as her life was, she always had time for family. She spent many summer days on her beach on White Sand Lake with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids! She will be dearly missed by her children: Joel Keller, Korli Fornshell, and Loren (Yaz) Keller; grandchildren, Jayson (Gina) Schultz, Kalli (Rick) Lorentz, Jesse (Alta) Keller, Thomas Keller, Stacy Wolhart, and Sara Wolhart; and great-grandchildren, Alli, Kolbie, Brody, Libbie, Klare, Max, Millie, Navy, and Holland; brother, Brad (Clarice) Stromme; sister, Janice Perlichek; Keller family from North Dakota, Terry, LeeAnn, Craig (Betty) and Lance (Julie); and many extended family members and friends. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Shelley; parents, Bert and Cora; brother-in-law Russell Perlichek and son-in-law, Jerry Fornshell. Memorials are preferred to the Timber Bay Youth Ministry.
