Mary Derby Obituary Mary Evans Derby died February 14, 2010 at Good Samaritan Society-Woodland in Brainerd. Mary was born January 25, 1914 in Port Arthur, Texas. Preceded in death by husband John Leslie Derby in 1981. Survived by her son The Rev. Glenn Derby (Alison) of Brainerd and her son Jonathan Derby (Connie) of Branson, MO; grandchildren Glenn, Jr (Susan), Lynn (Terry), John (Kelly), Emily (Luke), Christopher, Heather, Meredith, Thayer, and Matthew. Also surviving are 19 great grandchildren. Services will be 4:30 PM Thursday, February 18 at Woodland Chapel, 100 Buffalo Hills Lane in Brainerd. Private interment will be in Red Lodge, MT at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Woodland. Arrangements are with the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd
