Mavis Galligher, age 95, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Brainerd.

Mavis was born on June 24, 1930, to Charles and Mabel Woodhouse. She grew up in the Pillager area. On November 1, 1952, she married Ronald Galligher. Together they raised four children, two boys and two girls. Mavis worked at Staples State Bank and Motley Bank before retiring in 1991 and moving to Brainerd.

Mavis is survived by her four children, Thomas (Patricia) Galligher, Timothy (Deb Sanders) Galligher, Roxanne (Bradley) Nelson, and Debra (Bryan) Silgjord; one sister-in-law, Barbara Schrupp; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Desserts and stories will follow the service.
