Michael Johnston Obituary Michael J. Johnston of St. Paul, MN was born on November 15, 1957 in Brainerd to Harvey L. and Bonnie J. (Rice) Johnston. He died peacefully at his home and went to be with our Lord on May 1, 2010. Michael enjoyed fishing and being with family and many friends. He was a member of the Amazing Grace Assembly of God Church in St. Paul and a devout Christian. He embraced life and enjoyed helping others. Survivors include his father Harvey Johnston, Sisters Kathleen (Clinton) Deuel and Judith (Mark) Zahn, Brother David Johnston. He is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie and brother John. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with services at 11 AM Thursday, May 6 at the First Presbyterian Church in Brainerd with Pastor Peter Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
