Michael McCarthy Obituary Michael James McCarthy, age 64, died on February 12, 2022. Mike was born June 24, 1957. From a very young age, Mike had a passion for motorcycles. He was on the go as soon as he received his first Hot Wheels. After graduating high school, he worked with his father at a welding shop, making horseshoes. He then spent some time working in the mines in Hibbing. His passion for motorcycles gave him to the drive to eventually start his own business rebuilding and selling bikes, which led to a power washing company. He is survived by his sister, Linda Pustavor; and nephews, Joe, Pete and Mark Pustavor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Rosemary; and sister, Susan McCarthy-Headlee. A memorial service will be held at Riverside Union Church in Brainerd on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Brainerd.
