Patricia 'Pat' Sjolund Obituary Patricia "Pat" Ann Sjolund, age 77, formerly of Brainerd passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in Moorhead, MN. A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Pat was born November 25, 1946 in Baxter; the daughter of Edward and Irene (Anderson) Collins. She married the love of her life, Douglas W. Sjolund, on July 3, 1965 in Brainerd. Pat worked at St. Gabriels Hospital in Little Falls as a Ward Clerk for 18 years. Later, she owned and operated Antiques on Laurel. Her most rewarding career was being a mother to her five children. Pat had a beautiful garden and loved collecting/displaying treasured antiques, including a very extensive Raggedy Ann and Andy collection. She took pride in singing "Happy Birthday," to ensure that individual had an extra special day. Pat was kind, loving, compassionate, and just a little bit sassy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Pat is survived by her children, Rhonda (Brian) Smith, Jacki (Dave) Bellefeuille, Kristen (Jason) Allord, Erin (Nick Wall) Sjolund, Chad (Jen Simek) Sjolund; brothers, James Collins, Mark Collins, Robert Collins; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Irene Collins; husband of 54 years, Douglas Sjolund; sisters, Sharon Holmes, Marilee Birdsell, and Renee Collins.
