Paul Laughton Obituary Paul Elmer Laughton passed away on Thursday July 10, 2025. He was born on January 31, 1945, to Howell and Nuella (Gangestad) Laughton. He married the love of his life Linda Maureen Bock on March 07, 1970. Paul will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother. He was Uncle Paul to many and friend to all. He was extremely proud of his Army service in the Vietnam war and his participation at the Garrison VFW Post 1816. He enjoyed going to auctions, telling jokes, playing Santa, teaching gun safety classes, being part of the Lakes Area Law Enforcement Association and the Mid Minnesota Deer Hunters Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 52 years Linda. He is survived by his son Jerald (Chris); daughter RaeLynn (Mike) and five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, sisters Arlene (Harry) Hines and Rita (Marty) Wick; brother Duane (Nancy) Laughton; and his wife's siblings Leon (Kularb) Bock, Michael (Connie) Bock, David (Sheryl) Bock, Roxanne Bock, Colleen Russell and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. and also on Monday evening, July 14, from 5:007:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. A luncheon will be held at Oaklawn Tavern in Brainerd.
