Paula MacArthur Obituary Paula F. MacArthur, 65, of Brainerd, formerly of Texas, died Monday, October 19, 2020. A Celebration of Paula's Life will held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Nelson - Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Paula was born September 23rd, 1955 at Arlington Airforce Base in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of Jesse and Josephine (Halencak) Bryant. She studied nursing at Texas Tech University and has worked as an RN throughout the Brainerd Lakes Community for many years. She was very passionate in her faith and helping others and has participated in missionary work throughout Ecuador for many years working as a nurse. Paula loved horseback riding, running, hiking and the outdoors, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by her three children, Jesse, Dale and Emmamarie (Drake) Barnhart, her mother Josephine and step-father Philip Wilbanks, her sister Nila Ball and her two best friends Karen Estrada and Joni Hudson. She is preceded by her father Jesse Nile Bryant.
