Ransford Austin Obituary Ransford Arden Austin, 67, passed away peacefully at home in Brainerd, MN, on March 15, 2025. Ransford was born on September 4, 1957, in Brainerd, MN, to Arden and Beatrice Austin. He proudly served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his country. Ransford had a deep love for Jesus and was a very spiritual man. He found joy and freedom in riding his motorcycle, embracing the open road. He took pride in working with metal, crafting and creating with his hands. He lived life on his own termsnever one to be told what to do. Above all else, he was all about his family. His girls meant everything to him, and his love for them was unwavering. His faith, adventurous spirit, and devotion to his family and friends left a lasting impact on those who knew him. He is survived by his daughters Shelly (Jason) Arnall, Tara Hagemann, and Ami (James) Arthur; grandchildren Courtney, Amanda, Tyler, Caleb, Austin, Brayden, Jakob, and Avin; great-grandsons Ryan, Daniel, Bryson, and Kole; his first great-granddaughter, Leilani; stepfather, Harvey Peterson; sister Ramona Thompson, brother Terry (Anna) Austin & their families; and his loyal dog, Holli. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arden Austin and Beatrice Peterson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 2:00pm, at Riverside Union Church. Family and friends are invited to gather an hour prior for a visitation. His strong will, deep faith, and boundless love for his family will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
