Raymond Mudgett Obituary Raymond Eugene Mudgett, age 77, passed away on Thursday, August 29th, 2024 in his home, surrounded by those who loved and cared for him. Ray was born on July 16th, 1947 to Harvey and Edythe Mudgett. He enjoyed his early years growing up on the family farm in Pillager, MN with his five brothers and four sisters. On October 2nd, 1971 he married the love of his life, Debbie (Kyar). Together they had a daughter, Rae Anne, and son, Steve. Ray loved to visit. He was never too busy to stop and lend a hand or have one more cup of coffee. His nature was that of a caregiver, to all family, friends and neighbors. He loved spending time in nature, especially with his grandchildren. Ray will forever be remembered for his warm smile, compassionate spirit and his big booming laugh. A Memorial Service for Ray will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor Patty Bjorklund officiating. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to services. Ray is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughter, Rae Anne (Tom); son, Steve (Jessi); grandchildren, Alexa, Eva, Jack, Gianna and Lauren; sister, Beverley; brothers, Frank (Sherry), Stanley (Mary) and members of Debbie's family who have also lovingly supported them through this journey.
