Richard Harry Dircks, 70, of Brainerd, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, doing what he loved — farming. There seems something fitting about a man who spent his life working hard, enjoying the outdoors, and doing things his own way, leaving this world with his boots on.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Richard's life at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. A gathering will begin at 5:00 p.m., with food, fellowship, and plenty of storytelling to follow the service.

Additional information will be posted.
