Richard 'Dick' Severson Obituary Richard R. "Dick" Severson, 85, of Fifty Lakes died Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center. A Celebration of Dicks Life will be held later at his favorite spot his home on the lake. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Dick was born September 14, 1935. He was a warm, caring man with a smile you always remembered. He served in the US Army, worked for S and H Green Stamps and Target, and enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jennie (Gulicksrude) Severson; son, Douglas, and stepson, Brian Gibson. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Regina; daughter, Vickie (Charles) Mynatt; son, Bob (Maria); daughter-in-law, Wanda Severson; brother, John (Nonda); sisters, Karen (Dan Fisher); nine grandchildren; and nine-great-grandchildren.
