Robert Kohls, Jr., age 70, died on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at his home in Nisswa.

Robert was born to Robert and Sylvia (Solheid) Kohls on March 7, 1956 in Roseville. Robert will be remembered for his generous heart, outgoing personality, and gift for making others laugh. Whether he was hunting, fishing, golfing, or spending time with family and friends, he found joy in life's simple moments. A natural storyteller with a playful sense of humor, he was known for his good-natured pranks and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Robert dedicated his career to trucking management, where his strong work ethic and leadership left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him.

He is survived by his wife, Nikkie Kuzyk Kohls; sister, Candy Kohls; siblings-in-law, Vickie (Darwin) Hawkins, Nancy (Ralph) Dooley, Donald (Patty) Kuzyk; nieces and nephews, Todd and Morgan (John Woo) Hollis, Michael (Jenny) Hawkins, Michelle (William Grapevine) Hawkins, Kristy (Jeremy Smyers) Dooley, Debbie (Chris) Academia, Tina (Mike) Cabral, Samuel (Aida) Kuzyk and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his parents-in-law, Mike and Bonnie Kuzyk.

A Celebration of Life for Robert will be held Monday, September 14, 2026 from 11:00AM-2:30PM, at Watermark Community Center
