Robert McKenna Obituary Robert (Rob) Allen McKenna passed away June 1, 2018 at home. Born and raised in St. Paul, Rob and his wife, Karen, moved to Gods country in 1992. Rob worked many years as a carpenter, but at the age of 42 graduated with high honors from the Central Lakes College Small Engine (Mechanic) Program. He loved fixing anything with a motor, deer hunting and fishing and was always ready to share his home-smoked venison sausage. Rob and his son, Bobby, shared a love for motorcycles and for Robs classic 1975 Chevy pickup truck. Rob was preceded in death by mother, Bette Naidyhorski, and father Bob McKenna. Rob is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Rachel (Justin); son, Bobby (Jess); daughter, Angel Strand (Markovich) and stepdaughter, Tracy Privratsky; sisters, Sue Burmeister, and Deb (Bill) Schmidt; four grandchildren; special uncle and aunt Bill and Shirl Pettit; many close family members; and friends in Brainerd and St. Paul. Brainerd visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd MN. Additional services will be held in St Paul on Friday, June 8, 2018. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
