Robert Salzbrunn Obituary ROBERT P. SALZBRUNN, age 85, of Brainerd, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Pierz Villa. Bob was born in Little Falls, MN on June 1, 1927 to Paul and Alzina (Milner) Salzbrunn. He married Lorraine Perlinger on November 19, 1949 at St. Mathias Catholic Church. Bob retired from a career with Burlington Northern Railroad. Survivors include his wife Lorraine; Children David Salzbrunn of Medford, Mn, Joyce Miller of Brainerd and Rita (Arnie) Farber of Brainerd; Grandchildren Marcus (Flor) Miller and greatgrandson Alexander, and grandchildren, Melissa (Torben) Behmer, and Shaun and Katie Farber. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday, February 28 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Daniel Weiske officiating. Burial will be in St. Mathias Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday with parish rosary 7 PM Wednesday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Visitation continues at the church the hour before services Thursday. Memorial gifts to be given for masses are preferred.
