Obituary

Roberta 'Bobbi' O'Reilly Obituary With her signature humor intact and her family by her side, Roberta "Bobbi" OReilly peacefully passed away on June 24, 2025 after a courageous battle with Parkinsons disease. She was 77 years old. Born March 29, 1948, in Bellingham, Washington, Bobbi was born to Robert Bankes and Francis Colburn. From a young age, Bobbi was sharp, selfless, and a little bit sassytraits she carried with her throughout life, especially when raising her five daughters. Being a mom was Bobbis proudest role, though becoming a grandmother might have given it a run for its money. Her grandchildren were her heart, and she made sure they always knew it. Bobbi was very creative and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting ceramics and glassware, reading and doing puzzles. She worked for many years at Target, alongside three of her daughters who also worked there. It became something of a family franchiseand if there was a Target Hall of Fame, were pretty sure Bobbi would be in it. Bobbi was the kind of person who didnt need the spotlight to shine. She was thoughtful, clever, and had a wicked sense of humor that kept her loved ones laughing, even during tough times. She leaves behind her five loving daughters Michelle OReilly, Cindy (Mike) Mueller, Lisa (Jerome) Klaesges, Jessi (Ricky) Besmehn, Mandi (Chad) Keskitalo; 13 adoring grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several siblings including Delsie (Steve) White, Jean (Tom) Warner; and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, step mother Marie Bankes, and her sister Dolly. In honor of Bobbi, do a puzzle, tell someone you love them, or donate to the Michael J. Fox Foundation (https://give.michaeljfox.org) to further the research of Parkinsons Disease. Please join the family as they celebrate Bobbis life from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Prayers and a time of remembrance will begin at 6:30 p.m.
