Roger Edward Beaubien, age 83, passed away on June 15, 2026.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Lien Beaubien and Everett F. Beaubien.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Donn Beaubien; his children, Daniel (Karen) and Laura (Cody); stepchildren, Pamela (Jamar) and Patrick (Brittany); grandchildren, Benjamin, Maxine, Alexander, and Christian; sisters, Jeanne (James), Judy, and Joan (Jose); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

A lifelong learner with a deep commitment to faith and service, Roger pursued studies at Nazareth Hall in Arden Hills, The Saint Paul Seminary, the University of Louvain in Leuven, Belgium, and the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. His Franciscan spirituality and theological studies shaped a life devoted to helping others and enriching the communities he served.

Roger's professional life reflected his passion for education, ministry, and creativity. His first career was as a religious educator, serving at Brady High School in West St. Paul, Glenmary Home Missioners in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Catholic Education Center of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. He later served as an administrator for Catholic parishes in Eagan and Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In a third chapter of life, Roger became a gifted designer and creator of sacred wood artwork, combining faith, craftsmanship, and artistic expression into pieces that inspired many.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at St. Edward Catholic Church in Bloomington, Minnesota, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Private interment will take place at Guardian Angels Cemetery in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.

Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Ojibwe Mission in Red Lake, Minnesota, and Community of Saints Regional Catholic School in West St. Paul, Minnesota.

Roger will be remembered for his faith-filled life, his devotion to family, his commitment to Catholic education and ministry, and the beauty he brought into the world through his work and service. Through every chapter of his life, Roger sought to serve God, support others, and leave the world a little better than he found it.
