Ronald Blaisdell Obituary Blaisdell, Ronald Captain Ron, 69 of Garrison passed away on March 22, 2022. Ron was born in St. Paul Park, MN and then his family moved to a farm in St. Croix Falls, WI. He loved fishing and was a natural fisherman. He spent many weekends snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, and boating with family and friends. Ron was also an avid rock collector and enjoyed crafting with wood. He and his wife Mary spent most of their lives together in St. Paul and the surrounding areas, and also had several "up north" weekend homes throughout the years. They made their permanent move to Garrison in 2001. Ron is survived by step children, Dean, Audrey (James), Jason (Monica), and Heather (Edward); sisters, Linda (Don) and Vivian; grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Anthony, Shelby, Amanda, Emdea, Giavana, Zeus; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary; parents, Donald and Winnie; sisters and brothers, Joyce, Sharon, Dougal, Duane, and Alvin. Ron will be missed by all family and the friends he had met (and partied with) along his journeys. A gathering will be held on Sunday, April 24th from 12-3pm at JJs Birds Nest, 26915 MN-18, Brainerd, MN. Interment at a later date. Memorials are preferred to Ron's family.
