Ronald Ware Obituary Ronald D. Ware, age 86, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, at Shiloh Assisted Living in Pequot Lakes. Ron was born on June 1, 1938, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to James and Marie (Erickson) Ware. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later became a well-known local businessman as the owner of Rons Jewelry. He married Patricia Rose, and together they built a life filled with love, music, and community. A talented musician, Ron played fiddle, saxophone, and steel guitar in a band for many years, sharing his passion for music with others. He also enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter throughout his life. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his sister, Thelma Williams; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James; and sister-in-law, Norma. He will be remembered for his creativity and the joy he brought to others through both his work and music. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
