Russell Raddatz Obituary Russell Raddatz, 71, of Brainerd, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center. A Celebration of Russ Life will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, with a memorial service starting at 3:00 p.m. followed by a visitation and reception at Nelson Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Russ was born on April 1, 1951, in Brainerd, the son of LeRoy and Burnice (Flansburg) Raddatz. After graduating from high school, Russ continued his education with Tool and Dye courses. He worked most of his career in the printing industry as a press operator. Russ was a good man, great husband, and avid outdoorsman. He liked to fish and hunt. He and his wife, Judy appreciate adventure especially in the spur of the moment. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and dabbled in many business opportunities. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 25 years (and best friend), Judy; daughter, Kristy (Joel) Ward; stepdaughter, Shawn (Brian) Gunderson; stepson, Chad (Stacie) Niezgocki; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren (and two more greats on the way!); and his brothers, Mike, Randy and Rick. He was preceded in death by his son, Warren and his parents.
