Sharon Fitzer Obituary Sharon Mae (Bisson) Fitzer, 84, of Pequot Lakes, MN, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on June 15, 2025 at St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. Sharon was born on May 14, 1941 in Brainerd to Leo and Alice (Anderson) Bisson. She grew up in the Brainerd area and graduated from Brainerd High School. On November 11, 1961, Sharon married Raymond Fitzer at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. They were blessed with 63 years of marriage and raised their three children on a small farm west of Pequot Lakes. She was a waitress at Bar Harbor for 40+ years. During this time, Sharon made many lasting friendships with coworkers and customers who were like family to her. Sharons family meant everything to her and she loved family gatherings. She was an amazing cook and host and always made sure everyone had more than enough to eat. She also loved playing cards, reading, puzzles, and word games. Sharon is survived by her husband, Ray; children, Rick (Carolyn) Fitzer, Lori (Jim) Grimes; grandchildren, Samantha Goldberg, Megan Goldberg, Tony Fitzer, Marty (Anna) Fitzer; great-grandchildren, Emma Fitzer and Michael Fitzer; brother, Marty Bisson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John; and sisters, Janet (Don) Norr, Tessie (Gerry) Blanck, and daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Craig Goldberg. Visitation will be held at St. Christophers Catholic Church in Nisswa at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 25th, with a Funeral Mass at 11:00. A luncheon will be served at the church. Burial will take place at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager following the luncheon.
