Shawn Miller Obituary Shawn Derrick Miller, 50, of Brainerd, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at his home. A Celebration of Shawns Life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Nelson Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd. Shawn was born January 19, 1972, in Brainerd, the son of Lee and Pamela (Windorski). Shawn graduated from high school in 1990 and continued his education at Minneapolis Technical College for jewelry design. While living in Minneapolis area, Shawn was a social butterfly and enjoyed bartending. In 2001, Shawn and his family were blessed with two children Kaylee and Jack. Shawn raised his family in the Brainerd Lakes Area. He began working as a robotics engineer and really enjoyed his time at Barry-Wehmiller Companies. He was currently working for Ascensus where he got to spend all day chatting with people he loved it! He was a fan of the Wild, NASCAR, and even the Vikings. He enjoyed fishing and cooking, especially spicy stir-fry. Shawn was funny and a true life of the party. He laughed made you laugh - and people always enjoyed being in his company. He is survived by his children, Kaylee Ray Miller and Jack Anthony Miller; mom, Pam Miller; and sister, Tracy Miller. He was preceded in death by his dad, Lee; maternal grandparents, Ray and Pat Windorski; and paternal grandparents, Ken and Helen Miller.
