Susan Eberly Obituary Susan D. Eberly (Bliss) was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on February 18, 1955 and passed away at her home on September 20, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur (Bud) Bliss, mother, Jean Bliss and brother, Mike Bliss. Susan is survived by her sister, Pat Lang, son, Nathan Bliss, daughter, Tara Bollig and daughter-in-law, Jenn Bliss. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she will be forever missed by them. They are Hannah, Jonah, Elijah, Avah, Lilah, Bridget, Nicole, Sadie and Layla. Susan grew up in New Hope, MN and graduated from Armstrong High School. She did some modeling after graduation and became Miss Hamms Beer and Miss GSTA. She married and had 2 children, then became a daycare provider for 15 years. She was also a Sunday School teacher for those years at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church. She then changed professions and went into nursing. She was an LPN for the State of Minnesota for 16 years, she then retired and was able to do what she loved most, fishing and boating at her home on North Long Lake. She lived where she always wanted to be, on the lake with her daughter and her grandchildren that she loved so much. Susan will forever be missed especially for her laughable sense of humor, her great big smile and her contagious laugh. She had a loving heart and a caring soul. She would always help anyone in need.
