Tyler Theien Obituary Tyler James Theien, 32, of Brainerd, MN, passed away tragically on March 3, 2025. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family and friends.
Tyler, known affectionately as "T", possessed a spirit as bright and warm as his infectious laughter. He had a remarkable talent for making others smile, captivating those around him with his humor and uncanny impressions. His kind heart yearned for connection and acceptance, and he offered both freely to everyone he met. A lover of music, particularly playing the guitar, and video games, Tyler cherished time spent with his family, creating cherished memories on numerous family vacations. He held ambitious dreams and goals, and his potential was boundless.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Brandi Theien; his brother, Riley Wise; his biological father, Alvin Alexander; Father, Dan Wise; his grandmother, Barbara Theien; his grandfather, Jerry Wise; four uncles; five aunts; twelve cousins; and his beloved son, Tyler Leslie Theien, whose mother and family tragically prevented Tyler from being a part of his sons life. This separation caused Tyler immense pain, a sorrow that will forever be felt by those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Justin Theien, and grandmothers, Kathy Wise and Linda Wilcox.
Private family services will be held on April 1, 2025, at 11am at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd, MN. A Celebration of Tylers life will be held at a later date this summer, allowing family and friends from afar the opportunity to gather and honor his memory. Details regarding the celebration will be announced at a later time.
Tylers memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed every single day.
