Vickie Kyar (Brage) Obituary Vickie Lynn Kyar (Brage), 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center. Vickie was born on November 3, 1957, to Russell and Marjorie (Davidson) Brage in Grand Forks, ND, where she attended school. In 1981 she met the love of her life Wes Kyar. They would spend the next 44 years together. In 1990 they moved to Brainerd, MN. Over the years she worked at Craguns Resort, Walmart, and did home care. Her co-workers nicknamed her the "energizer bunny". Vickie was always the life of the party. She could make anybody laugh. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She loved fishing, car shows, outdoor music festivals and road trips. At home, she loved taking care of her flowers and working around the house. Her favorite though was keeping the vehicles clean and detailed. Vickie is survived by the love of her life, Wes Kyar; Brothers, Larry Brage of Stevens Point, WI and Todd (Kathy) Brage of Walker, MN; sister, Sherri (Mark) Hart in Grand Forks, ND; Brother-in-law, Rod (Maggie) Kyar of Barnesville, MN; Sister-in-law, Sharon (Ray) Welliver of Brainerd, MN; many aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Marjorie Brage; and her sister-in-law Jackie Brage. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, March 14, 2025, at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather from 10-11am for the visitation.
