Vincent Schwartz Obituary Maurice Schwartz, 72, of Brainerd, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Essentia Health St. Marys Medical Center in Duluth. Funeral Services for Maurice will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 22, 2021, at Nelson Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd. Vincent "Maurice" Schwartz was born February 25, 1949, in Malad City, ID, the son of Darrell and Ellen (Orf) Schwartz. Maurice grew up on a ranch in Malad City with his family, but he also called Idaho Falls and Shelley, ID home for a while. On August 7, 1970, he married Vicky Peterson at the Salt Lake City Temple. The couple made their home in Brainerd and raised their family. Maurice is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vicky; sons, Justin and Chris (Mindy) Schwartz; grandchildren, Hannah, Owen, Steven, Ethan, Sara, and Andriah; brothers, Anthony and Tyler; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bryan; and father-in-law, Calvin Peterson.
