Violet 'Vi' Terrio Obituary Violet E. Terrio, age 99, of Baxter, formerly of Sand Lake in Britt, MN, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Northern Lakes Senior Living in Baxter. The family would like to give special thanks and appreciation to the entire staff at Northern Lakes for the care and friendship they provided to her. Private family services will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. "Vi" was born on October 14, 1924, in Virginia, MN, the daughter of William and Alma (Saarinen) Lindval. She grew up in the Virginia area and is a 1942 graduate of Virginia High School. Vi married John "Jack" Terrio on July 11, 1952, in Virginia. Vi was artistic, hardworking, easy going, and dearly loved her children and family. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, Soduko, crocheting, and tending to her flower gardens. But mostly, she enjoyed painting and was a member of an art club in Virginia. She was a voracious reader. She was a doting grandmother; and enjoyed sharing her artistic talents with her grandchildren. Vi will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Vi is survived by her children, Randy (Kathy) Terrio, Sheryl (Jim) Hubbard; grandchildren, Dan (Tiffany) Hubbard, Kristen (Jeffrey) Michael, Kimberlee (Libby) Terrio; great grandchildren: Olivia, Jacob, Henry, Wesley, and William; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, "Jack"; and brother, William.
