Wayne Kyar Obituary Wayne Clifford Kyar, 81, passed away on September 11, 2024, in Brainerd. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11:00a.m., at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd. The family would like to invite everyone to join us for a luncheon in the Koinonia Hall immediately following the service. Family and friends are invited to gather an hour prior to services, as well as on Thursday, September 19th, from 5-7:00p.m., at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. Wayne was born in Brainerd, on July 31, 1943, to parents Clifford and Matilda (Breid) Kyar. He married the love of his life, Judy Waldorf, and together they raised two children. Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 62 years, Judy; son, Mike (Marcia) Kyar; daughter, Michelle (Joe) Lambert; granddaughters, Ashley (Devin) Brooks, Whitney (Evan) Blakley; two great-grandsons, Owen & Warren Brooks; sisters, Donna Smith, Karyl Smith, Laraine Curren, Debbie Mudgett, Susan Buresh; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents; brother, Richard; granddaughter Tiffany Lambert; five brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
